The Story Behind the Name Lady Fox

So I had decided to follow my passion and start my own business. What was I going to call it?

It took me months to come up with the name. It was really difficult to think of something that wasn’t already taken that had meaning. I kept a journal and I wrote down names as they came to mind but nothing seemed to resonate. Anyway, the universe had it’s own way of telling me the name for my business. I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason, at the right time and when the time right the universe delivered the message more than once…

Driving on the highway on my way home from a weekend away I saw a fox running the opposite direction to me on the other side of the road. It decided to cross the road right in front of my car while I was driving at 100kms! I nearly had a heart attack and stupidly swerved my car to try and save it’s life as I couldn’t bare to hurt it. This had never happened to me before and I didn’t realise you were not supposed to swerve. Luckily I didn’t hurt myself. I was just a bit shaken up after almost losing control of the car. A few weeks later another fox crossed the road while I was driving, this time a lot further ahead. ‘It’s a sign’ I thought to myself, the universe is trying to tell me something.

I went home and checked the business register, googled business names with the word ‘fox’ and there were barely any fox business names registered. I came up with the name ‘Lady Fox’. Lady to represent elegance and beauty. The fox was the perfect animal to represent my brand. It is the symbol of creativity, fox is changeable, magical and it represents as a spirit animal luck beyond luck, to have fortune bless you. It was perfect for a logo design and I wanted it to have meaning so each and every person who wears Lady Fox always has the good fortune of the fox symbol to bless them in life.
